Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell has worked as a chef, TV host in America and an instructor at Institute of Culinary Education. She hosts the Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Chef, and is also the host of Worst Cooks in America. Ann Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef is a hit with her signature hairstyle and her pumped up appearance, offers easy techniques any person can master. Chef Burrell has worked and studied in some of the most prestigious New York restaurants. He was also a part of Iron Chef America and the culinary landscape of Italy. Burrell is a native of the Upstate and grew up in New York State's Upstate, developed an early passion for cooking. The Culinary Institute of America was the catalyst for her passion for managing restaurants when she received an English/Communications degree at Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was where I had the most fun time of my life. The Culinary Institute of America was a great place to study. Following graduation from the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners, Chef Burrell was able to spend a whole year in Italy studying and working at La Taverna del Lupo restaurant in Umbria and La Bottega del 30 one Michelin rating in Tuscany. Her time spent in Italy allowed her to comprehend and appreciate Italian tradition and philosophy, which has had an impact on her own perception of food. Burrell participates on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that helps brighten the lives of kids who struggle. She also is a Juvenile diabetes Research Foundation's Celebrity Advocate where she promotes awareness of the condition of children with diabetes. She speaks about her cooking passion, and also shares her knowledge of the culinary world, as she regularly goes on trips across the USA in both her roles as speakers and mentors. Anne, throughout her entire culinary journey has stated that it is a privilege to have the opportunity to share this passion for food with other people.
