Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian Muay thai fighter, mixed martial artist, and is a competitor with the UFC flyweight division. She is the younger sister of the former UFC Flyweight champion and the fellow UFC fighter Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko's professional career in combat sport started out in the form of an Muay Thai athlete. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title before being defeated by Suzane Mller in a unanimous decision. Antonina Shevchenko won an additional medal in the year 2007 and a bronze medal in 2008, a gold in the year 2011, and then was named the IFMA Amateur World Muay Thailand Champion in the year 2016. Antonia has started her professional career in 2003, was crowned in 2012 and the 2016 Lion Fight Lightweight Championships. It was also the WMC World Championships were also held in 2016 and she took home the 2016 IFMA Amateur Muay Thailand World Champion. Antonina's final fight took place at Phoenix Fighting Championship against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas. She was able to win with a majority. Antonina shevchenko recorded her first professional MMA fight in 2002 against Anara bayanova, who was fighting at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan. She was victorious via TKO during the 2nd round, and then won her 2 subsequent fights, both at WXF X-Impact World Championships of 2003. She was awarded a 3-0 MMA record. Shevchenko took a break from MMA to focus on her kickboxing, and she came back against Anissa Haddaoui during Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko beat Anissa by a unanimous vote before prevailing over Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. She was a part of the Dana White Contender Series 2018 following the departure of the league. Shevchenko wrestled Jaimelene Nievera as part of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. Antonina used superior striking and striking skills to TKO Nievera by knees to her body in the clinch. Following this victory Antonina was offered the chance to sign a UFC contract. Antonina was given a UFC contract following her win. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modeafferi with a unanimous decision. She then lost her subsequent bout due to the split decision. Antonina was able to bounce back from the defeat and beat Lucie Pudddilova on UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submission during the second round. The fight was awarded Antonina the Bonus Fight of the Night. Shevchenko has a record of 1-2 during her subsequent three matches which included a win over Ariane Lipski and losing to Katlyn Clarkagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina suffered a loss to Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO in the second round of UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
